Hi Chaps,
Picked up this lovely group locally this week. The chap was RAOC to begin with then Seconded to Recce, RAC, Argyles, and ended up in the Yorks and Lancs before being de-mobbed in 1947.
The group consists of his medals, some insignia, pay book, ID Card, photos and tons of military and period civilian paperwork. Right down to a receipt for a bike he bought in 1948 from the same shop I bought my first Bike in 1988, that made me giggle. Over all it's a superb grouping with lots of unusual bits of paperwork and some really nice cloth. Hope you all like it.

I presume it turned up in a house clearance and only just missed going in the skip ?? where was the bloke from ?
