Help with identity of this badge.

Bit of a long shot but does anyone know where this badge comes from? I got it in a small pile of mostly kiwi badges and have no clue as to what it is. Guessing it’s Brit/Commonwealth just by the look of it and have had a look through my limited reference material for Brit ww2 badges and cant find it. Could be post war so if anyone knows for sure would be most grateful if they would let me know.

It's British, Tripolitania District, an Administrative HQ formed after the Italians were ejected from their colonies in North Africa during WWII.
