British leather fieldgear WWII

Seems like that this M39 leather gear was mostly used by foreign colonial army troops (Belgian, Indian) And I have search around to find out if it was used by Norwegian troops during WWII, and not even the Norwegian expedition to Jan Mayen (1942) used English weapon gear (they actually used Norwegian Krag Jørgensen ammo pouches) so I have kicked it out on eBay to try to get my money back. This is a good example on what happens when you buy something you dont know anything about but think looks cool
