Cap or Collar?

Hi
Need help to id this badge. Cannot find it in my badges books and do not have any on Collars. any ideas?

Cap badge of 6th Liverpools, should be blackened.

Forgot - they were formed in 1908, became Royal Engineers in 1936 (I think 38 Regiment) & then Royal Artillery in 1938. I can't remember details of whether or when their badge changed to RE, RA etc, I'll check the books.

Badge sealed 29/9/16, worn until 19036, according to Kipling & King.

Found it now in Gaylors. No sign of it ever being blackened so off to the copies bin with it.
