Can we see some close ups of the other badges? I'm having the impression that the Pegasus patches are replicas and the glider patch too.

Hi, thanks, no need for pictures, they are not good indeed. This BD was assembled for reenactment by a Polish guy. I bought it from him when he returned home a few years ago (for the price of the BD...).
When I was reading the thread yesterday I asked myself "where have I seen similar border regiment patches?" and then I found out... I would have been suprised if the conclusion was that their were ok but who knows...

The father of the guy who I bought the flag from collected these patches during and right after the war.

Very nice display! As a Canadian I am proud by the respect shown to our vets by the Dutch people. Thank you for keeping the memories alive.

That is a real shame about the Glider pilot BD.... it would have been very collectible today.

Thanks. It is a shame about the BD, but it was thrown away 66 years ago.
