I posted this photo in the US section but I thought I would try here as well. This photo below fell out of a USMC China Legation Annual for 1932 that I picked up today. The book was found in England and had a bunch of "Old Bill" Cartoons and English news clippings inside. But this photo is an original. What I don't know is if this is a US Marine encampment in China or an Brit encampment. The clue is the tents. Does anyone know if these are US type tents from the 1920-1930's. The soldier in the foreground looks like a British soldier in tropo dress. Can anyone ID this type of tent?
