    Army Bugle / Named

This is another lump i boxed up and put in the attic but have never checked out /researched , as i get older i have begun to realise its not whos got ` the biggest` !!! that counts ( collection wise ) over the last few months i have been lucky to see some nice collections , on the forum and privately , may be not massive but all items checked /reseached labels a fixed carrying the relavant details etc which makes you realise thats the mark of a true collector not a hoarder ..
so for you pleasure and entertainment i am going through alot of my `named items ` that i have stuck away and been to bone idle to research , any help ,pointers ( or if ya think its b*&^%Ks ) please let me know ,regards ,Michael.

My wife spotted this a few years back at an antique fair , i think a few of the `old sweats` on the forum will remember all those modern 1980`s army bugles made out in India that appeared ( and still do ) on the market all with regimental cap badges solded on ? the ones with the yackie yellow n red cord tassles , i dont think this is one of them ? i think it .may be original as some one has gone to alot of trouble with it ,adding bits ,badges etc , never had or seen another army bugle to compare so if any one can spot some thing wrong or tell me what to check for i will be greatful ,ta

The white metal thistle was worn i think by the 9th scottish div as a unit insignia with a blue circular cloth backing ? on the arm , so possible this belonged to a guy in that unit ,or the thistle was a common ( bugle ) badge etc ?

any help please would be great,

No "Soldiers Died" listing of those details.

Regular battalion badge, looks like it's brass instead of white metal & therefore a WWI economy badge.

THANKS FOR THAT , i did a soldiers died check when i first got this ,back when there were no C.D`S and you had to do it the hard way , never came up with any one so kinda lost interest , now i belive its far easier to trace soldiers being dead, does not have to be the main factor ?
