So the back of this example looks almost pitted, this is what would be a pointer then on fakes and the prongs I could fall into trouble on those though.......uummm.

Hi Marcus, I don't think you will be fooled by any of the fakes once you have them in hand. As you commented the backs are very different from an original.

These fakes are made by a friend of mine, Rob Van Meel. They do look "OK" from the front. He makes them for re-enactors and not to decieve.
