Commonwealth cavalry sword?

Hi there,

No idea what this is, I'm sure its Cavalry but that's about the limit of my knowledge, no markings whatsoever.

This is most definetly not a British sword.

On first glance this would appear to be an Imperial German sword but I think perhaps it is Eastern European.

Sorry I couldnt be of much help.........my father used to collect swords and above are his suggestions.

I haven't got a clue what it is but I can tell you that it is not a Commonwealth Cavalry Sword. It actually looks more like an infantry sword.
