    Para cloth badges ???

    Hello All,

    <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o></o>

    As I am in the process of going trough some British and US stuff I take the opportunity to ask a few questions on originality of some badges. What is the verdict on these?<o></o>

    (They don’t come together) just all the British Para stuff I have. I don’t think the Pegasus is any good but I can be mistaken. The SAS wing look better but then also…. Fakers are expert in aging things…<o></o>

    <o></o>

          Hello Marc,

          All are orginal wartime in my opinion, apart from the Parachute qualification wings which are post-war period.

          The set of printed Pegasus patches is very nice in that they were once machine stitched onto a uniform.

          The PR (Parachute Regiment) printed slip-on shoulder titles are quite rare and were only worn for a short period in North Africa.

          As for the SAS wings, I'm sure Des will tell you more about them, as he is more qualified to do so than I am.

          Thanks, from Jack.

            Hi Marc,

            The SAS wing is original in my opinion. Please let me know if you want to sell it because I would be very interested Thanks
