Nice little hoard find

Due to a small exhibition I just received this nice little hoard of badges and insignia.
They were collected by a man during WWII, he acquired them from soldiers that were stationed in the vicinity of Nijmegen and North Limburg.
Cream piece of course is the economy Canadian Para badge, a unit which only was in Holland for a very short period. The nice thing is he kept a small diary in which he noted the names, rank and addresses of the soldiers he received the items from. I just love these region related items. Please enjoy.

a very nice lot
/ the cap badges are nice but dont disregard the cloth titles ,
the printed LORNE SCOTS is great ,also the CAMERON HIGHLANDERS /MACHINE GUNS is a `cracker` but to my mind the best bit of the lot is the printed
LEICESTER YEOMANRY a very nice title ,thanks for showing.

It must be that "airborne" thing I have. You tend to lose eye for other nice pieces. I must admit that I'm not up to speed with titles like the Lorn Scots, etc..
Most of my interest as far as that is concerned goes to the units that operated during Market Garden.

thanks for the comments.
As far as sticking names to the items, that is only possible in certain cases as not all the names have their units with them.
Leigh, Ade, yes it is a brass version with the silver plating worn of. The badge is in pretty poor shape as it also has been bent/styled for the beret.
