    3 Para Nominal Roll WW2

Can anyone provide some information where I can find a list of all the men who served in 3 Para during WW2? I have just received a set of wings including the name of the vet who owned them and I would like to find out more about this veteran.

    Cheers

Give these guys a try. Whilst they specialise in the Battle of Arnhem they do have a complete nominal roll of all members of the 1st Airborne Division. They also have lists of other soldiers, award winners etc....good luck

        Paul,

Maybe you can contact the Airborne museum at Pegasus Bridge. They must have a roll i think.

Hi Jeroen, not sure if they would hold at list there, given that the 3rd Battl. were at Arnhem? Still who knows?

Hi Paul, the Airborne Museum at Aldershot do have lists of everyone that passed jump training in WW2. This list is not comprehensive and some men who did get there wings are not listed.

Also the link to the old Arnhem Battle forum posted by Revellations is now dead. A new forum exsists here:

          Cheers, Ade.
