    1914 - 15 Star Groups.

Just a show & tell, I've stuck my 14 - 15 Star groups in a display, think that's all of them anyway, my other WWI medals are a couple of 14 Star groups, BWM & Victory pairs, singles.
    I'm bored.
I love 1914 Stars but I've only got a couple.
Anyway, I'd been bought this case & stuck my meagre Imperial German badges & medals etc in it, just to make it look pretty, but decided that I'd be better off emptying some pages in my bulging but not very exciting medal albums. These groups fit fairly well, I'm prepared to overlay medals on ribbons in the instances wjere the overlaid ribbons are modern replacement
This isn't the way they'll end up one day, properly displayed & labelled etc.
The group with Mercantile Marine's a bugger - bought it recently from America, it arrived wrapped in a folded envelope, rattling around in a small box, in a big box, so the package was fairly bullet proof from the outside, it just does'nt do a group sewn to a bar much good, bouncing around for a few thousand miles loosely wrapped - result, torn bloody ribbon.
Need 14 Star groups - missed that flaming one on the e-tables the other day.

Er.....no, desk top photos - gunner hanging out of an Iroquois.
Community policing the way it should be done.

Is this your buffalo sir? You are aware of the speed limit in place here?

And when did you last see your tribal ancestor sir? What was he wearing at the time?

Get some lights on that bloody crocodile!

You describe the offender as small & dark wearing shorts & flip flops & carrying a machete? Like that gentleman there? And there? And there? And there? And there? And there? And there? And there? And there? And there? And there? And there? And there? And there? .............

"STEP AWAY FROM THE COCONUT SIR!"

          You get the picture.

Just checking a few MICs - the group with Murky Marine is to Pte Grigor, 6 NF, Pte Shepherd of the Green Howards (later Lieutenant of East Riding Yeomanry), Sapper Smith of the RE, Sgt O'reilly of 6 NF (that's the trio with the SWB), WOII Ward of the RAMC (missing his MSM), & Cpl Russell of the Rifle Bde.

The trio top left with ribbon bar is to 13256 Pte / Driver A. Danials of the ASC. I have'nt been able to locate his MIC yet.

The beauty of the case is that it's like a Ryker, so you just lay the things in it & clamp the lid down to keep them in place, whip them out & change them around when you like.
