Help ID Insignia on a Helmet

I just received an e-mail from a fellow who has a British helmet with the following description:

I have a WWII British helmet with a yellow shield and a red tear-drop shape in the middle with a yellow horizontal line underneath the shield is aprox 2 inches tall x 1 and 3/4 inches wide. If you can help identify or know of someone who can, I would really appreciate it.

Can anyone give me any leads? Sorry, I do not have a photo to post with the description.
