    medal naming ...

    i have a ww1 war medal with the name:
    DVR. J. C. HAMPSON. S.A.S.C.
    on the CWGC site i entered his surename and found this as a result:

    what do you think - could it be him?
    for me the DVR. and the S.A.S.C. is unknown - for any help i'm really happy!
    where can i get more information about him?

    and the next question:
    are there also colored and natives in registered?
    where can i get info about them?

    They are different people. Your medal is to a driver in the South African Service Corps.Initials J.C.The chap on the CWGC is C.J.
