I know they're ony minatures, but that's the first time I've seen a BEM with a second award bar. That 'group' should be tracable to a specific recipient, as BEM*s are rocking horse ****. Unless, it's a made up 'group'.

      Canadian Group

      Hello,

I don't want to throw to much suspicion out there but if this guy was canadian and served in ww1, he should not have all of those other campaign stars for ww2. In early 1942 the canadian military was purged of all of its "Older Soldiers" and they were put into mainly administrative jobs. Thats why there are large amounts of groups with the ww1 medals and only the CVSM and War medal. Also how could this person have spent the required time in Africa, Italy and have been able to go and fight on Dieppe. Also he has the north west europe medal So this guy must have served there after the dieppe raid. I recently was over seas for the 60th anniversary of VE day and all of the dieppe Vets that I talked to said that they were not allowed to where the NW europe star because they were told that they did not spend the required time there. Also if he spent enough time in to get 2 bars to the CD don't you guys think that He should have the effiecency medal. If this guy did all that he said that he did he should be a pretty easy to find a name. Try looking at Nominal Rolls from the Canadian Units that Took part in the Dieppe raid. There shouldn't be to many names in there with a BEM and Bar.
