    RND shoulder titles

Hello guys,I posted my small collection of RND shoulder titles a while ago.I've finally managed to get the two missing Battalion titles and thought you might like a look. The Benbows in good nick but Collingwoods in relic condition. It was apparently found near the coast of Northern France with some buttons and bullet heads when work was being done on some old coastal defences.Cheers,

    Paul

Your missing a title.........the RMLI.........very much members of the Royal Naval Division. So much so that Douglas Jerrold dedicated almost half the history of the Division to them. Good job you have a space left!!!

Cheers Steve, the Corps has its own case mate,I thought I might fit a straight RND title in that bottom row,all the best,

            Great stuff Paul

I only have a single RND title and a couple of Anson's together with the matching cap badge.

            Cheers, Ade.

                Another opportunity to nit pick

What happened to the Marine Labour Corps cap badge?

The Naval Division also wore divisional cap tallies.......e.g. London etc.

                Steve.

Well Steve,if I ever see a RMLC cap badge and shoulder title I might see if I can afford it.As for the RND I think I'll stick on what I've got!All the best,

True Leigh,as were (at different periods) 4th Beds,7th Royal Fusiliers,10th Royal Dublin Fusiliers,2nd Royal Irish Rifles,5th KSLI ,1/28th Battalion the London Regiment (Artists Rifles),2/2nd London Regt,2/4th London Regt and the 14th worcesters (pioneers). Not to mention the RFA,RE's,ASC,RAMC and MGC also attached. The pongo units were drafted in after heavy casualties forced the disbandment of some of the RN and RM Battalions, kept their naval traditions though and remained a fine Division throughout the war.Cheers,

                      Paul
