Need help to id badge

Any ideas on this? Similiar to an LRDG badge but what is it really?

Any story behind this Des? I do not recognise it to be honest as any thing military. I have seen Polish collar dogs with a similar kind of fold over wire tab on the back, but I am not sure it that means anything? It could just be a tourist type thing for all I know.

No story really. A German collector friend of mine picked it up recently. He thought it was British and military. I had no idea what it was so decided to post it for opinions

4th "Scorpion" Armored Regiment

Could be from the Polish 4th "Scorpion" Armoured Regiment that served in Italy.
