    1950's Parachute Regt group

    Came in work today from a lady I know.

    Interesting that her husband served in the late 50's but wore a Kings Crown cap badge and "wartime" pattern wings.

      Interesting in that it appears only the shroud lines and canopy were polished away. I have seen this also done on US Para wings from the early Korean War era. Nice group.

          I heard of a para who served in the sixties who got away with wearing his fathers badge from WW2. He was apparently the brunt of much yelling until it was explained and permitted.

          How much I believe everything this chap said is debatable.

          Regardless, that is a really nice grouping!
