Deleting messages

I no longer have associate membership (which I shall rectify soon), but my private messages show as having 62 stored messages and that I can only have a maximum of 60. Both inbox and sent folders show as having no messages, and when I click the option to delete, nothing happens and my inbox is still full.

Any solutions?
