    Epson Scanner

Well ... I guess it's time to retire the old Epson Perfection 610. MY old XP Desktop is on its way to the promised land and the new laptop has Windows 10. No workie now.

Anyone know what the best model of Epson scanner is out there these days? I'm pretty spoilt ... the old girl was top of the line for her age and scanning quality still rate A++ even for 17 years old ....

I am currently using a Epson perfection V500 with windows 10.

The majority of the items I post here are scans and not photos.
      It's way quicker and easier.

Thanks Greg, I know I will be going on with an Epson as they are the best without question. I haven't been keeping up to date on these and a few days ago I was just snooping around a couple of local stores and they had about 4-5 different models.

I'm willing to pay a few more dollars for the best of these.

I think that the V500 is probably not the best. It was one of the more
moderately priced ones available at the time. I have used nothing but
Epsons for a decade now. They seam to work the best when scanning
medals and other pieces other than just flat photos and documents.

I've used Canon,Dell and Brothers products. The Canon Pixma is a great product. Still use XP on my desk top. Windows 10 sucks.
