Any one seen this movie ?

Yes I saw it at the cinema. Well filmed, good acting...perhaps a bit slow in places. You can tell it was made on a budget but watchable

            It was nice. Wine now!

I was at a military show ( Detling Military Odessy ).

A few vintage planes few past and then the Lancaster bomber flew over. The engines clearly make an impact but the whole crowd stopped as the ground trembled. Everyone at the show looked skyward.

A beautiful experience. I had a tear in my eye and I still don’t know why. The Lancaster Bomber is as important as the spitfire and should be made as an Airfix model by every schoolboy in my opinion!

The devestation the Lancaster bomber caused is not forgotten but balanced in the context of war.

I was privileged to be in London for the 50th anniversary of the Battle of Britain. There was no shame in tears as Spitfires, Hurricanes and Lancasters made flyovers. One of my fondest memories.
