Last night I watched this excellent movie about the Russian submarine Kursk and the tragic accident in 2000 which sank her and killed the entire crew.

The film critic reviews weren't that great so I wasn't expecting to like it as much as I did and that's mostly because it's not the typical Hollywood trash melodramatic disaster movie we seen a hundred times before. There are some scenes however which are pure fantasy and added in for dramatic effect but they were done well in my opinion. There is also some beautiful cinematography and a stand out performance from the French actress Léa Seydoux which bought a few tears to my eyes.
The movie should be available on DVD and Blu Ray soon and I think it's already on Netflix but not sure about that. I downloaded it from hdonline.
