I found the book "Samurai" by Saburo Sakai on Amazon for 99 cents (Kindle) 12 bucks for hard copy
. Best .99$ I ever spent. The book was written in 1957 from daily journals he kept. He is credited with 64 "kills" as a Zero pilot against ally planes.(American, Dutch, Australian, Chinese etc.). You will read a very different perspective from what we were taught on some issues but confirms some other issues we have read or we were taught.
