      "a team of Belgian resistance fighters kidnap a German submarine during WWII to bring Uranium, needed for the Manhattan Project, from Belgian Kongo to New York. (Based on historical facts)"

        Karl, I suspect these are the historical facts;

        https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/German_submarine_U-234

        U-234 was carrying 1,200 pounds of uranium oxide and was heading to Japan. The vessel surrendered to the US on May 14, 1945. Its cargo of uranium oxide was sent to the Manhattan Project. Other accounts state the US would not have been able to finish the second bomb without this shipment. The ending of the Cold War revealed many facts which were previously unknown.

        The movie sounds like pure nonsense. As usual....

          But better than anything else we could hope for, nowadays . . . so I would say, enjoy it for what it is meant to be - entertainment.
          And if it sparks even the most remote interest in expanding someone's knowledge, we have all won in my mind . . .

            Anything not a documentary is just entertainment. As such, take it for what it is. At least they are not psycho baby killers.

                  So in reality no Belgian resistance fighters capturing the boat and navigating to US ships....the weird history lessons in movies educate more people than history books
