    New After the Battle Book

    Hi,

    For anyone interested, After the Battle have just published a new book. Just had mine arrive this morning.

    They certainly seem to be churning them out at a fair rate now but always top quality and good books to have.
    I just wish they would do one that covers Norway 1939-45. When you consider the Altmark incident, the German invasion and occupation, the Norwegian saboteur and Allied Commando raids, the Kriegsmarine anchorages in the north, Luftwafe airbases, the German retreat in the far north and the return of the Norwegian King it has enough to fill such a book.

      The description on AtB website isn't particularly promising for at least that ad has succumbed to an absolutely unscientific approach by claiming figures that are frankly dubious. Unless of course every death in Europe between 1939 and 1945 is blamed on German occupiers. From those dying of old age to those killed by Allied actions.
