    Goerings Secrets

This was a short movie on Amazon Prime.
Nothing really new here, but a few tidbits and some private film I had not viewed
    before.
What I found very cool was at about the 45 minute mark after his capture.
They showed colored film of Adolph Galland and did a nice close up of his KC
Same thing with Rudel and his awards very cool.

    Worth the watch.

The U.S. army sent a small group to meet the former Reichsmarschall - and to guard him and his family at nearby Fischhorn Castle. The group's commander was Lt. Golden Sill of Layton, Utah. A photo of Goering’s surrender at the castle still hangs in Sill’s Café in Layton, opened by Lt. Sill several years after the war.

I've found photos from the time Goering spent at Schloss Fischhorn hard to come by. Sill's Café is a location where one of those photos can be found. Most of the pics you find on the net - and in books - are from his time at Kitzbühel . . . which, technically speaking, occurred a day later.

His capture is a really interesting story . . . as is that of Schloss Fischhorn, during the time of the Third Reich. Since you enjoy the story of his capture, you may find this article equally interesting:
