Gordons New Book raises the standard

I picked up Gordon Williamsons new book on the iron cross! I had been eagerly waiting for it and it was worth the wait. This book will easily raise the bar for any one else doing a ref on this subject. If you have one EK2 or the Grand Cross the information is invaluable! Thanks Gordon.

      Hi there,

just a question : does that book have color photos ? I own the DETECTING THE FAKES and THIRD REICH MILITARIA , both from Robin Lumsden but all the pictures are in B&W, which sometimes makes real hard to become usefull. Besides, the reprodutions listed in these books are what I consider "old" repros, ie, too bad quality and easy distinguishable. How's in Gordons book ?

Gordon's book has scores of clear color photos.
As for repros, he covers the latest state-of-the-art fakes, not those which look like they've been fashioned out of crumpled aluminum foil.

Got mine today, excellent , I'll read it real slow so I can enjoy it.
What I want to know is who took the DK in gold apart for the "exploded view"?
