    Hitler rejected by the German Socialist Party

    Here is a very interesting find by the historian Thomas Weber and would account for Hitler's threat to leave the Nazi Party:

      Hitler's so called 'easy' and 'safe' job did not save him from being wounded twice, however.

        Was there a safe "job" in the trenches I do not think so. I read Weber's book " Hitler's First War" solid archival work but this new revelation would account for Hitler's hysterical threats to leave the fledgling NSDAP when the committeE suggested a merger with the DSP/
