Tiger in Berlin - Georg Diers

Loyalty and Honour Publishing is pleased to announce the next planned title:

"Tiger in Berlin", by Georg Diers.

This will be the English language version of the original book published by Am Wall Publishing in 2016.

The plan is to have this ready before the end of 2017.

The English version may contain some coverage of Oskar Schafer. (I was lucky enough to meet both former Waffen-SS heavy tank crew members and discuss their experiences with them).

Watch this space - further details will be posted here.

    Thanks
    Peter

I was lucky enough to get several autographs from Diers, Brommann, Schafer a few years back. Diers sent me an inscribed book(German version). My rarest sigs are from Frank Staudegger which I literally got for nothing when I bought a small signed photo group out of Minnesota about ten yrs ago

                Update on this title:

Finished book is at the printers for the first proof copy to be done and checked over, prior to the main print run being done.

I expect this book to be ready around the end of October.

Once I have the proof copy, I will post an image and provide details on the book.

It is predominantly about Diers, but does have a small section on Schafer, then an end section of Fenet. It also has a foreword from one of the youthful fighters who found themselves in Berlin at the end.

                        Hello Peter,

were you able to get the last road trip of Tiger "314" right ?
I'm amazed to see that no one was able to publish the correct path of the Tiger from the massive anti-tank barrier in the Chausseestrasse to Schönhauser Allee.

I agree, would like to see the route of Turk traced as well (his tank ended up in front of the Potsdamer Bahnhof):

This would have been his field of fire (Columbushaus on the left).
His Tiger has been removed, but the civilian car and wall are still there:

This would have been the Soviets view of his tiger:
