The 3rd Reich then and now

Just received this very big book (480 pages). Although I have not had chance to read all the text yet, I have been through it and especially the many photos and captions. It is a great source of info if you want to go on a tour of Germany searching for old "famous" buildings and landmarks. Deals with Adolf's birthplace, with the Obersalzberg, with Berlin and also with concentration camps and buildings linked to Goeing, Speer, etc...
I will be in Baveria and Austria this summer and this will be a very useful tool.
It is available from Landmark Booksellers (www.landmarkmilitarybooks.com) @ GBP40. not cheap but well worth it if you are after great photos of then and now.

I have it. It is - as always with Tony Le Tissier and the "After the Battle" serie - excellent.

I also recommand reading the Berlin one.

    Cheers.
