Günther Prien book with inscription

Can anyone tell me more about this book and what the inscription says? My german is not that good when reading it.

I have the same book but yours looks like it's in better condition than mine.

Does yours have the same inscription? I'm trying to find out who is the person who signed this book. Do you have any idea what it's worth?

These inscriptions are personal and such signed books often were given as a gift to a friend, comrade or even to soldiers by their families at home. You'll never find the exact same inscriptions but the majory is all very similar in contents. Value is not much. These are quite often for sale. I paid $ 25 for mine but I have seen them for a little less and a little more. But not much more so don't expect to be sitting on a goldmine (unless the signature is from a highly decorated soldier/person of course).
