Great book about an Artillery Battalion that landed on D-Day on Dog Green sector of Omaha Beach with the 29th. They shot down the first German plane encountered by the American's and later were first in to Paris. During the Battle of the Bulge they fought against Kampfgruppe Peiper using 90 mm AA guns as anti tank weapons. The absolute best part about the book though is that my uncle is pictured on page 54. He served with D-Battery 110th AAA.
