Just received a signed copy of the book "Ritterkreuztrager mit Nahkampfspange in Gold" by author Florian Berger. I contributed some info & pictures to this book but I look forward to the English version. There are photos of a RK & CCC in gold winner, wearing the RK that I have on hand. I don't know who will be selling it but know doubt the author will notify us.It is soft bound with 566 pages and lots of pictures.

I have just finished going through the book. Their are tons of pictures and certificates etc. of CCC in gold winners. Even though I do not speak or write German its pretty easy to get the gist of the book. Here a picture of a page.

I have a list of Waffen SS holders (including their units), which mentions that of the total of 585 CCC's awarded, 109 were awarded to members of the Waffen SS, which evidently was disproportionate.
In looking over the alphabetical list, I noticed Osha Rock and Rttfhr Roll next to each other.
