i'm trying to remember the series i saw in the 1990s. it showed a computer generated movie to show how the german tanks would use the bocage in defense against the allies.
i thought it was part of the "battlefield" series from BBC and PBS.
I can't recall the producers/tiltle.

You mean the tiger vs the shermans etc. Sounds like the battlefield series. Check out u-tube they are all on there. Probably the D Day/Normandy campaign episode. S1 E5 or maybe the Caen episode S5 E6 ?

Fairly good series overall though later episodes lack the quality of some of the earlier ones. The film footage usually makes it worth watching even when the commentary is off.
