Book Review-Silent Night

Hi folks,
The following book is a must read for anyone interested in the famous First World War Christmas Truce. The book is called Silent Night by Stanley Weintraub. The book is easy reading and it really makes you feel good and rather sad after reading it. As a matter of fact, I have read read this book the first 2 days of Christmas break for the past 4 years. The book includes several great period illustrations, photographs, and maps.

Do yourself a favor and pick up a copy.

Jody, I agree entirely with you on this book, it is well worth reading about this much-talked about event in WWI. Very easy to read and not an easy book to put down. BUY IT.

I agree aswell, I found this book, at "Book Depot here in canada, a clearance outlet for five bucks"

Had I of seen for thirty elsewear I would of paid it!

Its a great book about one of those great untold storys of WW1, A story that I think would make a great motion picture.
