"Uniforms and Traditions of the Luftwaffe Volume 2." By Angolia and Schlicht.
    Published by Rodger Bender.
Why is this title so scarse?
Was there a very low number published and if so why ?

If anyone has a copy gping for grabs please contact me.
Anyone owning a copy , I would be grateful if you could send me a few notes on the content of the volume.

    Thanks to all in advance.

      Grüß Gott Kameraden,

As with most fine military reference books, you have to buy them when they are published. Since we are a "niche" market, the number of printings of the books isn't that great. Davis' UNIFORMS AND INSIGNIA OF THE LUFTWAFFE VOLUME 2: 1940-1945 was published in 1995....10 years ago! The book does exits and I have my copy that I bought a decade ago! Here is a quick summary of the chapters:

      1. Historical Development
      2. The Luftwaffe 1940-1945: Formations and Branches
      3. Badges and Accoutrements
      4. Uniforms
      5. Protective and Specialist Clothing
      6. Luftwaffe Women's Services
      7. Luftwaffe Heimat Flak Units
      8. Hitler Youth Flak Units
      9. Herman Göring: The Man and His Uniforms
      10. Rferences
      11. Bibliography
      Index

        Angolia "Luftwaffe Uniforms/Traditions" (Volume 2)

There are TWO of these on Amazon - the seller name is "franzhaniel". He seems to have quite a selection of exceptional references.

I believe the seller is pricing the book at $500 US. I would never purchase a reference book for that amount and cant see anyone either.

            $500

$500 , too much for me as well , would prefer to put it into a large set of Japanese naval optics or another U-Boatglas.
I am looking for Vol.II to complete a set , its not beacuse I have a specialist interest in the Luftwaffe , a copy for $500 is for the serious Luftwaffe collector on a mission.

There must be a market for even a limited re run of this book.
