As a kid growing up in the 60's, it meant that our TV was either tuned into Combat, The Rat Patrol or Hogan's Heroes. It's hard to pick a favourite. I do get a kick out of watching some of the old episodes now. The German troops who were armed with MP 40's, almost always wore Kar 98 ammo pouches.

Don't forget 12 O'clock High, The Gallant Men, & McHale's Navy. There has to a few more that I'm forgetting. Combat! was my favorite.
