    Emil Maurice new book by Heimdal

    Hi,

    new book planned by Heimdal on Emil Maurice (on pre order now, deluxe edition), i don't know if the book will be only in french.
    Heimdal is said to have bought part of Emil Maurice archives, it will be interesting to see the content.

    Damn, wish I concentrated in French class. Looks good. Do you know how many pages long the book will be?

      Hi,

      the flyer says that it will have 400 pages + 300 pictures/documents.
      I don't know if the book will use the work of Anna Sigmund from 2003 :

        I have a bad feeling about this book. The portrait photo on the cover is actually gauleiter Karl Holz and not Maurice !!!! Anyone making that mistake make me wonder of what the book contains.

          Hi,

          you are right Mark, and the other problems is that with the famous fake Emil Maurice grouping recently proposed on various auctions, there is still a possibility that more fakes are included in the archives lot.

          I will probably send Heimdal some infos, including your discovery Mark.

                  I suscripted since January 2016, and since nothing.

                  I know that Heimdal is used to deal with 1+ year delay, but still...

                    Hi,

                    as you may know, Histoire & Collections (another famous French publisher) was in trouble, and Heimdal took over many books that were/will be published by them instead.
                    So the project was on hold for a full year.
                    Now the project is a priority and many additional features will be added to the big book, which is still in writing.
