Black Shirts-Oswald Mosley

Not to sure if this is the correct forum to post this in, but it's a book!

I saw this on a European website and thought it was unusual so just got it.

It's a German translation of an English publication from what I can work out-'Oswald Mosley - Portrait of a Leader'.

If you're British then you'll no doubt know of Oswald Mosley, leader of the British Facist Party.

I was interested to some extent as my old man, my dad was in the infamous 'Battle of Cable Street' fighting the black shirts.

I was pleased to get the book, and even more so when I received it because it is full of paper clipings with photos. loads of them, from German, Dutch publications about Mosley. I've posted a few examples.

I understand that material from the Black Shirts, is hard to come by, so I'm wondering is this publication is rare?

Anyone have anymore information?

The German print is a rare book.
The women with the Union Jack Swastika flag is the wife of the leader Imperial Fascist League Arnold Leese.

Hi,

This must be a quite rare book, especially with the mostly Dutch newspaper clippings which show an interest of foreign press in the rise of the BUF.
The book still retains the dust jacket, which is a bonus; should be quite a valuable item!
