ive seen a few but want to know which one to go for?

numerous of quality in English on the Munich Putsch that cover before and after.

but sounds like you seek overall, 1923-45 ??

No the early years 1923-1933.
Seen lots but not sure what to go for.

Munich 1923 is excellent and another book called Putsch that is a very good read. It mostly focuses on the chaotic scene post WWI leading to the Putsch. I can't remember the authors name at this time though.
