Hi guys,
I just want to let everyone know about my publishing house's forthcoming release called "Objective Ponyri! The Defeat of XXXXI. Panzerkorps at Ponyri Train Station". The author, Martin Nevshemal, a former USMC Captain and S-2 (Battalion Intelligence Officer), has used his analytical skills to evaluate primary and published sources to produce a book that clearly shows every stage of the German offensive towards Ponyri and the corresponding Soviet countermeasures. The book is filled with stunning aerial photos, uncovered by Martin in NARA’s vast holdings. Many of the German aerial photos capture crucial moments of the battle: explosions, tanks and planes are often visible. To showcase these photos and the many other maps and colour satellite images, we have departed from our usual book format and instead opted for a large landscape format, with a photo on the left page and text on the right.
Features of the book:
• Large 297 x 210mm landscape format
• 204 pages on high-quality gloss paper
• Hardcover only
• 60 aerial photos
• 18 colour satellite images
• 19 maps and 9 sketches
• 32 supporting photos
• 2 appendices.
For more information about the book, follow this link: http://www.leapinghorseman.com.au/pr...92274917&cat=5
Finally, here is the cover and a few sample pages.
Thanks for your time.
Jason
