Nazi eagle ?

While in Vienna 2 weeks ago, I took that picture at the entrance gate of the Hofburg Imperial Palace in Central Vienna, just a thought but that eagle certainly looks very much Third Reich ? Don't you think ?

Nice one! I always take photos of these sculptures on my travels and this one is quite different.

I have not gotten around to putting these Vienna eagles on my webpage yet, but I have read that they were put there at the Hofburg during the 3.R period, even though they look like they did not have the Hakenkreuz. (There are two of them, right?)
