    " Disaster at Stalingrad"

Every now and then , I like to read a good alternate history account, and I have previously enjoyed books by this author, Peter Tsouras. His earlier "Disaster at D-Day" was a sobering, well researched and written account.
"Disaster at Stalingrad", is, as to be expected in these types of books, a series of "what ifs" , and how actual history may have played out much differently.
This book encompasses a wide geographical & strategic area, from the artic convoys to Russia, to the Caucasus, Turkey, and, of course, Stalingrad.
I will not provide any " spoilers", but, suffice to say, the end result of this account does not quite match what actually happened.
IMHO, well worth reading for anyone interested in WWII, and not just the Eastern Front.
It's available for a good price at Amazon.
