Hi yes I have been enjoying it, last night had some of Kevin Wheatcrofts collection & one of Hitlers Mercedes, after seeing the prices being banded about for all sorts of militaria my wife doesnt think my hobby is so daft now.

been watching this. the movie is obviously "fury" that he`s providing the vehicles for. i`d love to go and have a nose around in the wheatcroft collection!, he looks to have some serious stuff there!!. according to his website he`s currently restoring a tiger and TWO panthers.
enjoy this show, but it doesn`t get a lot of publicity.

I think you mean ' building' a Tiger, not restoring.

Along the lines of the so-called number 7 'survivor'.

Only a personal view, but I believe there is a difference.

Very much a desirable item none the less.

          SF.

            combat dealers ss items

i am not a collector of tr stuff but do take some interest in the history side.
i like watching combat dealers although its mostly about ww2 stuff.
i am curiors as to why bruce the dealer / buyer in it did not want to buy a mulslim ss fez in the last episode as it was too dark for him ?
yet he has a few liebstandarte adolf hitler vehicles in his collection.
so at what point does he or any collector draw the line with ss stuff its all dark as far as i can see.
            just curiors.

yeah, thought that myself at the time. maybe his obvious love of vehicles means he can `forget` their darker past?, don`t know. but that french dealer and collector had some serious stuff just laying around in his house/barns.
