    Malmedy Massacre Trial Video

There is some high-quality footage from the Malmedy Massacre Trial on youtube, however, some of it is without sound.
The caption is Malmedy Massacre Trial Uncut, but is only one hour.

Some of Peipers cross-examination is at 27:00:

Does anyone know where the complete footage of the trial is located, if it exists?

The trial also must have been transcribed from beginning to end.
Is anyone aware of the location of the trial transcript?

Stonemint, I found this bit of information on the trial....I'm not sure whether or not the 3,268-page trial transcript is available for review, but this may be a lead......Another may be the Holocaust museum in New York....Bodes

The records of Peiper's unit were destroyed just before his capture. In 1945, however, Peiper was interviewed by members of the ETO Historical Section. (See Ferriss, Rpt Based on Intervs in January 1945, passim.) Much of the tactical detail used herein comes from the 3,268-page trial transcript of the so-called Malmédy Case tried before the U.S. General Military Government Court in 1946. A good summary of the latter is found in a manuscript by Royce L. Thompson entitled The ETO Ardennes Campaign: Operations of the Combat Group Peiper, 16-26 December 1944 (1952), in OCMH files.

bodes, thanks for that link and the tips.
Being somewhat of a courtroom aficionado, I am one of the few that would like to read the entire trial transcripts from beginning to end.

I would have to believe that the entire trial is on film as well--not just these little snippets we see on youtube.

Unfortunately I doubt they filmed the trial in it's entirety......The media and press coverage wasn't what it is today......People didn't have the multiple news agencies and the 24 hr/day coverage......Instead the citizens of the day watched their news snippets at the movie theater......I also don't believe the government saw any real value in doing so, since the trial was being transcribed any way.....However if by chance it has been recorded in full, one has to wonder how much of the said footage has survived the ravages of time....Bodes
