    Is this photo unstaged?

I just stumbled upon this powerful photo of a frightened Heer soldier.I'm wondering if this is a real on-the-spot action photo or was it taken from a movie?

    Cheers!

Fantastic German production movie. A bit part played by a real Knights Cross winner Tillman Kiwi. Wonderful uniforms, helmets etc. Kiwi played in another movie you might remember,,"The Great Escape". This was his stage name, I can't remember his real name , but he was in the HG division. Tom

Sorry I spelled his name wrong : it's Til Kiwe, his real name was Eduard Kiefer. In "The Great Escape" he played one of the guards. (at the wash rack segment). Google him and it will list other movies he was in. (mostly German). Tom

                Hi,
for me, this movie is a must see, same like "All Quiet on the Western front".
Do not expect a herioc epos. It is about the cruelty and meaningless of the war..and about mislead youth. Based on a true story.

Here is the link on Youtube, with english subitles.

I tried the above link, and Youtube tells me it's not available in my county (USA). Any other USA folks have that problem?

Not yet, but I'll give it a try tomorrow. I've been wanting a copy of this film for a long time. I'll post what happens.
