To bad various new and high priced books have a lot of non-original to the period items in them.

        Hi Stonemint,

I still have the "Nazi Regalia" book by Jack Pia in my collection - was it that long ago?
I believe it was; oh dear!
        An old fart,

        Best wishes,

        John.

There was a book tittle "The physiological case of Adolf Hitler" it was mostly a "analysis" of his persona and several key moments of his regime. The good part was the middle section which contain severa photo pages personal items of Hitler, including his soxs..with repaired holes and all!!!...also was show what is belived to be the only feldgrau four pocket tunic of Hitler in private hands...no acknowledge to the actual owner was made...but it was not the Russian archives/museum one. The tunic and other items shown where found on the trunk of one of A.H.motorcade cars put into storage at the beginning of the end in 1945...the explanation was given by Hitler chauffeur in the late 1950's....if all is true, don't know...but it look like it was. Also featured was Goering "Universal" Swiss watch and other momentos from top leaders of the T.R.

One particular...well..varius...items also shown where cut sections of the hangings ropes used in the executions of the top leaders of the T.R. at Nuremberg trials, each was put in a board with the name of the executed prisoner on the bottom, this "particular" collection was done by the US Army Master Sargent in charge of the prisoners.
