Battle for Konigsberg Books--Which is Better?

There are 2 out on the market right now. Has anyone read both, and if so, which do you feel was the better read?

I haven't read any but I have heard the Taylor book is much better than the Denny book....But I wouldn't know for sure until I read them. The Taylor book is on my list...

Appears to be as ErichK said. Apparently the publisher was/is a bit hit and miss...

The title of the Denny book is a little misleading as it doesn't cover the battle very well. It is a book that centers on the social history of the city and surrounding area in WW-2 rather than a true military history book. Don't expect to see tactical overviews and Order Of Battles etc. If you are after a book that actually deals with the battle itself than you can afford to leave Denny's book on the shelf.
