I just finished watching "Theirs Is The Glory" on Netflix. This film was made in 1946 and is billed as not being shot in a studio, but on the actual location of the main battle during "Operation Market Garden" - Arnhem.

For all you German armor fans, check out 0:37:46 of this clip for the use of original Panther tanks on YouTube.

It looks like the Panther at 0:37:58 is showing a side armor puncture in the turret. It's pretty obvious that these tanks aren't even really firing the rounds that are being depicted, but still interesting to see them rolling in action. Another treat at 0:43:29 is the appearance of a Tiger tank as well as another Panther. Another scene 0:44:58 depicts two Panthers on the road coming towards a fleeing British Para, as he runs to man an anti-tank gun. The armor action continues at 0:46:10 as one soldier goes one-on-one with a Panther, covered by the hull of another tank. These scenes are short but so cool to see these tanks running and being used in the film. Finally at 0:57:33 is a brief scene with a burning King Tiger!
If you've got Netflix streaming and a good internet connection the movie is very crisp and detailed. For those interested in owning a DVD, you can find it on Amazon.
I really enjoyed it know that today was the 69th anniversary of the third day of that famous battle.
